Jane is passionate about children’ education and trained as a P1 Teacher at Thogoto Teachers Training College in 1991, where upon completion she settled to teach in various schools in Migori and Nairobi Counties [serving at various capacities] until 2022.

She then moved to UK to pursue her further studies, beginning with a Certificate in Psychology and then a Foundation Degree [working with young people and young people’s services [endorsed by DfES] at Lancaster University. Throughout this period, she served as a Supply Teacher for various schools [Primary & Secondary] in UK as well as running an After-School Club. Eventually Jane capped her studies with an MSc. in Education & Training Management at the University of Portsmouth [UK] in 2010. Upon graduation she continued being a Supply Teacher until 2017, when she founded Prime Kids Pre-School Centre in Ongata Rongai, Kenya. Jane has continued running Prime kids, inspiring children, enabling them achieve and flourish in line with the centre’s motto. It is with this desire to touch more children in a wider context that beginning September 2024, Jane is now transforming Prime Kids Pre-School Centre into a Virtual Learning Centre so as to continue with that legacy of giving more children opportunities to learn from the comfort of their own homes. In her spare time Jane promotes book reading amongst school going children touching the lives of many!
